“TESTING RESOURCES TO HELP COMBAT THE PANDEMIC”

MicroGen Health is committed to being a partner in the battle, containment, and information-gathering process against the COVID-19 virus and its mutations by offering conclusive results within as little as 24 hours. This virus is responsible for extreme public disruption through the inhaling of particles during ordinary, day-to-day activities. Most people diagnosed with COVID-19 will experience typically mild symptoms similar to the common cold. However, for other rare cases, including extreme acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), and the most recent novel COVID-19 variants, clients may experience life-threatening symptoms requiring hospitalization and further treatment.

COVID-19 is commonly disseminated from person to person contact via a respiratory pathway. As a result, the risk of contracting the virus grows in enclosed, close personal, and large group settings. Using our advanced testing facilities helps identify those patients at risk of having contracted the virus. This creates a traceable line of instances that will help lessen the further spread by reliable testing information for medical professionals and the CDC.

Who Should take this Test?

While vaccination efforts continue to evolve and roll out across countries, certain groups of people should seek testing to determine if they have contracted COVID-19. Those include:

  • People with typical symptoms of COVID-19.
  • People who may have had close contact (within 6 feet) with a person diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • Unvaccinated people taking part in close physical activities like travel, attending social gatherings, or being in crowded or poorly ventilated indoor settings.
  • People who may have been asked or referred to get tested by their healthcare provider.
  • People in “high-risk” categories like those aged 60 and up and those with underlying medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory illness, and cancer.

Test Limitations

The molecular test is diagnostic and is intended to determine whether or not an individual currently has the virus in their body. This test is not a determinate of possible symptoms or virus outcomes. Instead, it is designed to inform clients and their physicians of a positive or negative result.
